MUSIC DEPT SPECIFICS
Full Year Music Courses
Music students will be enrolled in full year music classes. This means we follow a 2 day schedule where music students will alternate between theory classes and performance classes depending on a Day 1 (odd days of the month) or a Day 2 (even days of the month).

Laptops in the classroom
The music dept plans on using many cloud based programs this year. If you have a laptop or chromebook, please bring it to school. If this is not possible, chromebooks will be available in the classroom. |
Music, Folders, and Uniforms
If you have any school instruments, music, folders, or uniforms from last year, please bring them to class on your music class day. |
Concert Field trips
This year each grade will be going on a field trip to watch a performance which ties into their history/theory unit.
There is no charge for the tickets as this is subsidized by the Arts Fee.

Music Ensembles Rehearsal Schedule
Ensemble rehearsals will take place before school.
Please note the start times and days in the rehearsal schedule below.
Students are expected to be in the room ready to perform by 7:45 for winds & strings, and 8:00 for vocals.
