Our Mission
The mission of the association, in active participation with students, staff, educators and community, is to encourage and support the Music Faculty and students to sustain a premium quality music program in the enriched environment of Canterbury High School.
All parents and/or legal guardians of students participating in the music program at Canterbury High School, and all teachers and school staff in the Music Department are considered members of the association.

Our Objectives
The objectives of the association are:
- To cooperate with and provide support for the Head of the Music Department, the Music Faculty, and the school administration to advance, promote, maintain, assist and support, by any means whatsoever, music education, and to facilitate the achievement of desirable education and music goals by all participants.
- To encourage, advance, promote, assist and support music performance, and all facets thereof, and related endeavors which are, in the opinion of the Executive, beneficial to the programs in the High School, the Music Faculty, the current and graduating students and to the community as a whole.
- To earn, solicit, receive, acquire and hold donations, gifts and funds and to provide financial resources and support to the music program and related music enrichment activities at the High School.
- To provide financial assistance, awards, support and encouragement to current and graduating students and to the Music Faculty of the High School in the furtherance of any objectives.
- To help provide and coordinate human resources for the support of music and related activities at the High School.
- To encourage community interest in and support for the music program at the High School.
- To bring parents, students and interested individuals together in a relationship through meetings and social activities and to actively participate in the music program in a supportive role.
- To perform, generally, such business or other acts incidental, ancillary, supplementary, or in furtherance of and to the foregoing mission and objectives.
