Music Parents Support Group (MPSG) At A Glance

Did You Know?
  •  Fundraising events (large and small) raise over $50,000 each year
  •  Over 250 volunteers are involved with over 40 fundraising and musical events throughout the year
  • Music Nights are our largest fundraisers and involve over 400 hours of volunteer efforts (before, during and after)
  •   The Music Parents Support Group also assists the Grade 12 Graduation committee in their various fundraising efforts, which primarily help towards the “end-of-year” Grade 12 Recital

In addition to the fundraising and volunteering for events, there are countless other opportunities to get involved. We thank our parents who have supported the Music Program by: building shelves for instruments, designing tickets and posters, organizing international trips, taking photos at Music Night, delivering and distributing Fundscrip orders, hemming gowns – the list is long and the support has been amazing.

Events

Every year, the music students have an opportunity to perform in the community, in festivals, in schools, and at many special events. Each event depends on the support of parent volunteers, funds from the Music Council as well as amazing time and efforts of our teaching staff.
